But I have also demonstrated many of the good qualities you list here. Don't forget that a first year of marriage is a growing and learning experience, and that if one isn't careful, one's expectations can be so high that there isn't room for improvement. When the heart is in the right place, great things can happen. Rome wasn't built in a day. A great marriage is not an immediate achievement or a standardized test -- it's a process, a journey. I am learning and growing, constantly. One thing I always had was a commitment to my wife, and I got MANY things right. Is someone harrassing your site? <BR/><BR/>I love this blog, I think "SHOWING" your partner is everything. Actions speak louder than words and Cliff agrees,he's never had a hard time showing me and I have gotten better at showing him.<BR/>I just made him a big breakfast the morning of his birthday and did a hot little thing for him after Hay Hay!LOL<BR/><BR/>Your so right,it is most definatly the little things like noticing things,writing little notes and the one thing cliff is good at is listening and changing the behavior.<BR/>I'm not so good at this yet LOL but I'm working on it!<BR/><BR/>One night when we had not seen eachother for two days with his night hospital shifts and my crazy hours I came home from work at 3:30 am and when I walked in the door there were HUNDREDS of red and pink rose petals starting at the door,into the kitchen,up the stairs and into the bathroom into the hot tub with a note in my red lipstick on the mirror that red "Wake me up sexy!" I ran the water and woke him up.....I was so exhausted after we got out of the hot tub I fell on the bed and was OUT in 30 seconds LOL He let me sleep!<BR/>Thats just one of the sweet things he has done.<BR/><BR/>Your list of Not to dos I must say I have been more guilty of but not anymore. He has VERY firm boundries regardless of his kindness and I have learned once he will walk away forever if it was to happen again!
